Villa Saladin: A Luxurious Garden in the Heart of Egypt
This landscape project for the Villa Saladin near Cairo embodies the elegance and refinement of a modernized Mediterranean garden, perfectly suited to a luxury environment. The design highlights a harmonious outdoor space with a symmetrical layout and meticulous vegetation management.
The villa is surrounded by natural stone terraces that create a spacious and inviting relaxation area. Beds of exotic plants and shrubs line the pathways, adding touches of greenery that contrast with the light tones of the paving stones. At the center of the garden, a free-form swimming pool, lined with matching stone coping, provides an intimate, relaxing bathing area.
Majestic palms and carefully selected nursery trees frame the space, creating natural points of shade while reinforcing the atmosphere of a private oasis. Clean lines and high-quality materials reflect a perfect balance between nature and modern comfort, making Villa Saladin a true haven of peace at the gateway to Cairo.
Greening project for a building in Cairo
In the heart of Cairo, this project to green a building redefines the concept of urban architecture by integrating natural elements to create a veritable vertical oasis. The aim of the project is to transform the building's facade into a lush green wall, offering not only innovative aesthetics, but also significant ecological benefits.
The project comprises a total green wall surface of 850 m², covered with various species of climbing plants, ferns and succulents. These plants were carefully selected for their ability to adapt to Cairo's hot, dry climate, while creating a refreshing microclimate around the building.
The installation uses an automated Raind Bird drip irrigation system, which ensures an optimum water supply for each plant while minimizing waste of water, a precious resource in this region. This intelligent system is programmed to adapt to seasonal variations and weather conditions, guaranteeing the durability of the green wall.
Benefits
Beyond its captivating visual appeal, this green wall offers significant benefits for the building and its occupants. The thermal insulation provided by the plants reduces the heat absorbed by the walls, contributing to a reduction in energy costs linked to air conditioning. In addition, vegetation improves air quality by filtering pollution particles and increasing ambient humidity, creating a healthier environment for residents.
